Description
1989 Soviet Union - USSR (Russian) Navy Dress Dagger and scabbard with Hangers and Belt. Everything about this item is in "Very Good" condition.
The blade is bright chrome with a brass plated blade guard. On one ricasso is the manufacturers logo and name in Cyrillic, looks like "bynam" along with the year "1989. The other ricasso has the serial number "232511. The unlock button on the side of the blade works as designed. The scabbard is made of leather and metal. One side of the throat depicts a sailing ship, and the other a ships anchor. The locking mechanism works perfect.
The black belt has no rips, tears, frayed edges, or loose stitching. The two Hanger straps are in the same condition as the belt. All of the brass on the belt and hangers, including the belt buckle is in almost new condition. All of the buttons and the buckle have an anchor embossed on them.
This piece will display beautifully and is a must have piece for any collector of USSR military knives.
